Dot and Laser Sight is best for your shooting needs. The uses
of the AR15 are as versatile as the shooters style and rifle
choices. However, the ultimate decision as to which AR15 scope
fits your need and budget is up to you. No one else can make

Choosing the correct
scope can be broken down to the following steps:
- Determine your
budget. Baring in mind the rifle is only as good
as the Optic. If you can not see and acquire the target
clearly the chances of hitting center mass is reduced?
- Type of Targets.
Are you shooting at Targets, Varmints or Two
legged Varmints?
- Distances you
plan to Shoot. Long or short distances?
- Mission Critical
needs. How critical is it that you hit the
target under all operations conditions?
You will notice that most
images found on the web and magazines picture AR15 Tactical
rifles with a Holographic or Red Dot Sight such as an EoTech.
Typically the images are of Law Enforcement and Military
tactical weapons that are being utilized for Close Quarters
Combat or entry use. Also AR15 rifles with the compact
Holographic sights are the best looking on short barreled
tactical rifles.
If your shooting needs
are going to be approximately 100yds or less the Red
Dot/Holographic sights would be one of your choices. Red Dot
Sights and illuminated Holographic sights are designed with
CQC situations in mind, for quick and easy target acquisition
situations found in LEO and Military operations. Do not deter
this from having a Red Dot or Holographic site in your home
defense kit. These optics are just as worthy for home defense
as they are for mission critical operations.
