Constructed of 7075 aircraft grade aluminum the F16A offers up to 40% reduction in weight whileAirweight ASP baton 16", shown here. retaining 98% of the traditional ASP Baton striking potential. Patented foam vinyl grip provides increased retention.

Although in most states it is not required that you have training to use an Asp baton. However we strongly recommend that you receive the proper training before carrying a baton.

Airweight Baton

Presenting the ASP Airweight Baton. Named thus due to the aircraft grade aluminum used in its construction. The ASP Airweight Baton offers up to 40% reduction in weight while retaining 98% of its striking potential. The patented foam vinyl grip provides you with increased retention and handling!
 

Because of their aluminum construction the Airweight and Duratec are 40% weaker than the other batons. They are not recommended for duty use.

The Asp tactical baton is available in four sizes. 16, 21, 26, and 31 inch. The size is the length of the whole expanded baton. For instance, the 16 inch baton has an 6 inch handle, and will expand out another 10 inches giving you 16 inches.The most common sizes are the 21 and 26 inch. I believe the 26" to be the best length. If you need one for protection while jogging or biking, the 16" has been the customers first choice.

26" Baton weighs 1.46 lbs (Airweight is .85 lbs)and is 9.5" when closed
