Pal - Holdup Gun owners
POPGUNS has joined
the ranks of the firearm accessories retailers and gun owners being held up by PayPal.
First and foremost
allow me to state that the company PayPal has the right to operate their
company as they see fit. However as a consumer and vendor we also have the
right to operate as we see fit.
We began using PayPal
with our non-firearms eBay account ( Now closed due to their firearms
accessories policies) and later adding PayPal to our websites. Prior
to adding PayPal to our websites we asked PayPal if the product line was
acceptable.
Now 6 months later
PayPal decides we have offending items and froze the account until we
complied with their product policies.
We informed them to
go to Hell and removed PayPal from all our websites. Unfortunately we had to agree
, even though we do not agree in order to unfreeze "OUR" money. If you
do not jump through their hoops you may never see your funds.
We wrote PayPal to
voice our distain regarding their decision to lump legal firearms and
accessories in with Pornography and illegal items. Further asking why our
unchanged product line is now unacceptable.
We ask all firearms
owners to email or write PayPal to voice their outrage that they would
consider firearms and accessories in the same category as illegal products
and pornography.
We would like
to see all firearms owners close their PayPal accounts and boycott them.
However we are realists and know that most people will only do what is
convenient for them. This has been proven time after time, otherwise we
would not have as many restrictive firearms laws.
With the millions of
firearms owners getting involved rather than letting the next guy do it.
Gun laws would be reasonable and companies such as PayPal would not enjoy
their present growth.
