.Maxpedition
has been manufacturing gear bags for Extreme duty, long before
the word "Extreme" became the buzz word for every reality show
or cheap half-baked constructed product designed for couch
potato warriors.
The new
Maxpedition Condor-2 backpack is equally at home in urban
streets as they are in the extreme climate of the Alaskan
tundra and the Afghanistan mountains. To make your Condor-2
backpack even more versatile you should look at the complete
line of Maxpedition compact utility pouches and accessory
sheaths which can be attached to the Condor-II with Malice
Clips.

The
Condor II hydration backpack (#0512) is the dramatically
improved second generation of our military assault daypack
that has been upgraded with the amenities of daily use in
mind while not compromising the integrity of rugged
battlefield construction.
A square with rounded
top design, the Condor II can hold over 1950 cu. in. of
gear. One removable Y-shaped top strap and four
quick-release lateral compression straps secure contents
and takes strain off the durable YKK #10 zips. Wide
shoulder straps with high breath ability backing provides
superb cooling characteristics. As with all Maxpedition
backpacks, the Condor-II's load bearing capacity can be
expanded greatly with other MAXPEDITION modular pockets,
added to the backpack's front or side PALS attachment
points using Malice Clips. |

Fight or Flight:
The
reaction that occurs in the body when faced by a sudden,
unexpected threat or source of stress. The name of this
reaction comes from the fact that an animal experiencing
this reaction almost immediately decides to fight or to run.
In this reaction there is a sudden release of the
hormones epinephrine and norepinephrine, which increase
blood flow to the muscles, increase arterial blood pressure,
improve muscle strength and mental ability, as well as
increase blood glucose Concentration.
Through these actions the body prepares for a confrontation
or a fast escape.
Tactical
Definition of Fight or Flight:
It's
about to hit the fan! You have to decide if it is best to
fight or run like hell. Example one:
You live on the coast and a Hurricane is expected to
hit land in a short while. Do you stay and fight or run like
hell. Our choice is to run ( drive actually) like the
devil was on my heels. You can't beat the hurricane at
it's own game. Example Two:
While on a short road trip you stop at a fast food
restaurant for a break. While enjoying the fried grease two
pukes attempt to rob the place and decide to have a stand
off with the local PD. Do you fight or flight? I would again
run like hell if possible, if not fight when the chance
presented itself.
