Maxpedition
has been manufacturing gear bags for Extreme duty, long before
the word "Extreme" became the buzz word for every reality show
or cheap half-assed
constructed product designed for couch potato warriors.
Maxpedition was established in 1988 fabricating hard-use
military
specification nylon gear. Over the years Maxpedition has
become even more self-demanding: pursuing the most
user-friendly designs, using the highest quality materials and
meticulous workmanship. Maxpedition's hard-use-gear is
available in many unique configurations: double strap
Backpacks, single strap Gear slingers,
Waistpacks, utility pouches, Versipacks, cell phone holder, radio
sheath,
magazine pouches, sheaths, gear bags and gun cases. You
don't have to be a Navy Seal or even be a guy who knows a guy
who has a 2nd cousin that knows a navy seal to appreciate the
versatility of the Maxpedition hard-use-bags. Many of our
customers use their flight or fight gear bags as range bags
and Bug out bags.
As
a police officer I use the Maxpedition products. In my
opinion the Maxpedition line of backpacks and accessories are
the best for the money and for the hard duty use I use them
for. If you are like me - when it comes to your equipment you
want the best - Well with Maxpedition you are paying for the
best - Not the pretty label as you would on other brands. I recently upgraded from a Jumbo S bag to the "Typhoon"
as my everyday carry
fight-flight ready gear bag. As a grandfather of 3 young
ladies age 45and younger, a second Jumbo S gear bag also seconds as a
manly looking diaper bag. My tough
hard-use-gear bag has had as many baby bottles, Tupperware of
animal crackers in it as handguns, extra magazines,
flashlights and tactical knives. In fact one is sitting in my
cruiser right now with: Glock 23, 6 magazines, Blackhawk Gladius light, Emerson knife, extra badge/Id, cell phone,
Oakleys, small first aid kit. The other with two cruiser #6 pampers, wipes,
small container of Cherrios, sealed bottle of water and few
other things grandma says I needed but can't remember right now.
The Rollypolly folding dump pouch/ utility pouch attaches to
the side of both my gear bags for that little bit of extra
needed storage space. |

Fight or Flight:
The
reaction that occurs in the body when faced by a sudden,
unexpected threat or source of stress. The name of this
reaction comes from the fact that an animal experiencing
this reaction almost immediately decides to fight or to run.
In this reaction there is a sudden release of the
hormones epinephrine and norepinephrine, which increase
blood flow to the muscles, increase arterial blood pressure,
improve muscle strength and mental ability, as well as
increase blood glucose Concentration.
Through these actions the body prepares for a confrontation
or a fast escape.
Tactical
Definition of Fight or Flight:
It's
about to hit the fan! You have to decide if it is best to
fight or run like hell. Example one:
You live on the coast and a Hurricane is expected to
hit land in a short while. Do you stay and fight or run like
hell. Our choice is to run ( drive actually) like the
devil was on my heels. You can't beat the hurricane at
it's own game. Example Two:
While on a short road trip you stop at a fast food
restaurant for a break. While enjoying the fried grease two
pukes attempt to rob the place and decide to have a stand
off with the local PD. Do you fight or flight? I would again
run like hell if possible, if not fight when the chance
presented itself.
These are only a couple of
extreme reasons for a Maxpedition fight or flight gear bag.
The concept of the bags are to have all necessary gear in
one quick to grab package. The bags can be used for daily
life as well. What ever your occupation or lifestyle, you
always have stuff that needs to be with you in the event of
an emergency. Even if you are not a firearms owner, you
should be prepared for emergencies. Having you gear in a
convenient easy to carry package. |
