The Mesa Tactical receiver mount shotshell carriers for the Mossberg 500/590/835 substitutes a steel bolt for the trigger pin and is retained in place by a black oxide plated acorn nut. At the front of the mounting plate, custom retaining steel hardware is used with an elongated extractor screw and a machined key hole in the dedicated mounting plate. Unlike the lower quality models on the market the Mesa Tactical carriers are designed not to obscure the receiver serial number.

The SureShell shotshell carriers for the Mossberg fit on the left side of the receiver only. Please note ** You must a short tactical style forend ( such as the Surefire or ATI) that is designed to not significantly overlap the front of the receiver.

The Mesa tactical mounting system for the Remington 870/110/11-87 Tactical shotguns depend on steel fasteners threaded into the steel pins for a more secure attachment than the less brand Shell holders.  Just as the Mossberg model SureShell shotshell carrier, the Serial number is not obscured by the mount.

The two shot SureShell carriers for the Remington 870 utilizes the four shot brackets, so the shell yokes can be moved to the front or rear of the brackets. The four shot SureShell carrier for the Remington 870 ( right side) is sized so that it can be installed on the right side of the shotgun receiver , behind the ejection port. ( Please note** that the SureShell carriers can not be installed on the ride sight of Remington semi-auto shotguns.)  The remaining three carriers for the Remington 870/1100/11-87 can only be installed on the left side of the receiver. Please note ** You must a short tactical style forend ( such as the Surefire or ATI) that is designed to not significantly overlap the front of the receiver. When using the 8 shot carrier with the Surefire forends you will need to shave off a 1'2 inch of the end of the forend.
