Laser Sights Product Reviews

Shooting Range Staff and Valued Customers |

| Many times a day
the members of our knowledgeable staff are asked questions about
specific firearms products. We base the answers on facts, our
personal experiences, our observations of the Range customers, as well as
the experiences of our trusted customers. We personally feel that this
will give the consumer the most honest evaluation of the available products.
Rather than a magazine article written by a person not known to you, who is
evaluating a product hand picked by the manufacture. We will give you
both the good and the bad of any product we have in stock or available for
order. Then the purchase decision is up to you.

We have
personally used the LaserMax products since they 1st became available
and
we've put hundreds of the LaserMax Internal lasers into the hands of
consumers.
Has our staff and
customers experienced any problems? Well heck yes! As with
any product something can go wrong. However in our opinion the LaserMax
lasers are still one of the best products on the market. The
LaserMax is easy to install and doesn't require any adjustment unless
you are installing the 1911 models. We believe the the pulsating beam is
much easier to pickup than the steady beamed units.
The only problem
we've had with the LaserMax in our Range Rent Gun is the rear retaining
cap cracked. This same issue has occurred to a few of our
customers over the last few years. One of our customers lasers in his Glock 30 was not shooting point of aim ( No it wasn't him, it was
the Laser). LaserMax took care of the problem thru their warranty
department. That's pretty much the only problems that we've
experienced or observed. The 1st set of batteries
usually only last for about a week, since the new LaserMax owners are
showing it off. After that a set of batteries will last months. The
batteries for your LaserMax laser is available at any store that sells
camera or hearing aid batteries. The only difference between the
LaserMax batteries we sell and the ones at the pharamcy is the cost and
wrapping. The LaserMax batteries come wrapped in a thin plastic
sleeve to help install of same. The LaserMax batteries will usually cost
more than at the pharmacy.
LaserMax's new upgraded
captured guide rod spring assembly for the Glocks is a wonderful
feature that makes assembly much easier. Make sure you keep the
front lens clean or you could end up with the beam being off center.
Just simply wipe it down every now and then.
We've found
LaserMax's warranty department to be quick to respond to our customers
problems. The only issue we have with them is that they consider the end
cap to be a wearable part and charge for replacements. This is only a
small issue that would not stop us from 100% recommendation of the
LaserMax. As a side note, a laser is a tool to aid in shooting. It
is not a replacement for front sight focus, quality training and
practice. Well Folks, that's about it. If we get more
feedback on the Lasermax Pulsating Internal Lasers we will add it to this page. |
