Weapon
Lights for Remington 870 Shotguns
The
variety of flashlights suitable for use as a Remington 870
Tactical weapon light is staggering and we couldn't possibly
list them all. However in addition to the Aimshot, Insight
Technology, Pentagon and Surefire Shotgun lights shown below
we have many others available. Most 1" tube flashlights can be
utilized as a weapon light, if they will with stand the
recoil. The tactical flashlights listed below have a proven
track record when mounted to a shotgun.

Surefire
$239.00

618FA:
SureFire makes
replacement forends with integral tactical lights to fit
many popular shotgun models. These forends come with a
pressure sensitive activation pad for momentary light use,
and a constant On/Off switch ("F" models only). A P60 lamp
assembly is standard, providing 65 lumens of light for one
hour. The P61 ultra-high output lamp assembly can also be
installed, boosting output to 120 lumens for 20 minutes of
runtime. Constant-on and momentary switch standard.
SureFire shotgun replacement forends feature a
shock-isolated bezel/lamp assembly and a machined barrier
between the lamp and battery stick to prevent the battery
stick from slamming into the rear of the lamp during
recoil. Batteries within the battery stick are separated
by a fiber washer and held within a plastic sleeve as
further insurance against recoil-related failure.
|
With the exception of the Surefire
618FA weapon light, all others will require an additional
mounting system in order to attach the tactical flashlight
to your Remington 870. There are two primary methods
of attaching a tactical flashlight to the Remington 870.-
Barrel Clamp attached to the barrel or extended
Magazine tube or with a picatinny rail. Picatinny rails
can be attached to the Remington 870 shotgun with a
replacement Surefire Handguard, the Mesa Tactical Stock
adapter or the Mesa Tactical Barrel clamp with
incorporated Picatinny rail.
