Choate Top Folding Shotgun Stocks for Remington 870, Mossberg 500/590

Choate Shotgun Folding Stock

We strongly recommend against using a side folding stock on your tactical shotgun. The side folder stock on a tactical shotgun has been known to interferer with the operation of the pump.
The Choate Top Folding Shotgun stocks are a well made product utilizing a hard plastic pistol grip and a metal folding  stock. The stock has a plastic/rubber coating over the metal to protect both the finish and the user. The shotgun's butt stock has a thin rubber pad. The stock also has a side swivel mount for a tactical sling. The fore ends are sold separately. Check out the Surefire Tac lights

Choate Product  Evaluation 

The choate top folding shotgun stock would be a sturdy addition to your tactical shotgun. They are easy to put on. The most difficult part of the installation is finding a screw driver long enough to remove the factory stock. 

  • Remove butt pad by removing the two Philips screws sunk down into the rubber.

  • Get a big ass flat head screw driver and remove the butt stock.

  • Screw the new stock on and you are ready to go.
